Whale prints — Gerry Turley

The next private view was planned for the end of May 2020, but due to lockdown, I haven’t been able to make as many prints as usual, so I have decided to delay until I have a nice big stack of work to share. I will announce the date of my next online private view very soon. Sign up for the newsletter for a heads-up.

‘Gerry screen prints the whales onto vintage sea charts, many of which have been annotated by navigators at sea. He carefully chooses where to place the whales and sea life on each sea chart, using a mix of fluorescent and tonal inks, so that each print is completely unique. Gerry makes all of his screen prints at Edinburgh Printmakers. His prints have been featured in The Guardian, Uppercase magazine, 91 magazine and Simple Things magazine.’
